The study trip is part of the module "Process Implementation" in the master's degree programme IT & Business Process Management.
Besides a lecture at the new campus of the Vienna University of Business and Economics by Univ. Prof. Dr. Jan Mendling, we plan the following activities:
- visit of the "Wiener Linien" Headquarters, including a presentation on their open data initiatives. (Wiener Linien are the company running the largest part of the public transit network in the city of Vienna, Austria. They are part of the city corporation Wiener Stadtwerke Holding AG)
- visit of the Viennese brewery: Ottakringer Brauerei AG
- introduction to typical Austrian cuisine
