Welcome Desk

The Welcome Desk (Empfang) is your first contact for general information and for basic information about your studies at the University. We are happy to assist you directly or refer you to the appropriate staff members and offices. Please consult the list of office hours and service below.

Office Hours

Regular telephone and office hours:
Monday - Thursday 8.30 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday 8.30 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Shop

Shop items in stock at the Welcome Desk may be purchased during office hours (cash only).

Copy Service

The originals together with a completed copy request must be submitted to the Welcome Desk at least 3 days prior to the desired pick-up date. This service is only available to instructors!

Binding seminar papers

Ring plastic combs in various colours and sizes and plastic/cardboard covers can be purchased from the Welcome Desk  upon cash payment. Students can use the binding machine for free.

Student IDs

Student IDs are issued by the Welcome Desk and will be distributed during the introduction week.

Verifications

Please access the Intranet should you need a proof of enrolment. Once you paid your tuition fee, you can print the required documentation. Should you require a special proof of enrolment, please contact the Welcome Desk. There will be no extra fees charged.

Students enrolled in one of the architecture programmes please contact the Institute of Architecture and Planning directly.

Teaching Materials / Books

Books and other learning materials are not ordered through the Welcome Desk. They must be ordered/organised by the individual students or by the instructors.

Room Reservations / Audio-Visual Aids

Any audio-visual aids (projector, laptop, etc) and/or additional rooms must be requested in writing in advance from the appropriate contact person at the Study Services.
