LANGUAGE COURSES

As part of the cross-faculty elective subject, the university offers courses in English, German as a foreign language, and Spanish. The courses are interactive and take place in small groups.

Non-members of the university from the region who fulfil the basic requirements for admission can participate for a fee.

Upon request, participants will receive a written confirmation of the successful completion of a course and the corresponding language level.

Placement test and course selection

English

First-semester students (BSc AR and BSc BWL) are registered automatically for the Oxford Online Placement Test, which can be completed from home during a specific time period (details will be provided by the study programme in due time).

German as a foreign language and Spanish

For elementary courses (German elementary level and Español Elemental I), students can register directly. For choosing the right advanced course (German intermediate level or German advanced level), students can take the onSET online language placement test on specific dates (details will be provided by the International Office and the German teacher in due time).
