At the beginning of Advent, the international students of the University of Liechtenstein would like to thank the neighbors of the dormitory in Vaduz with mulled wine and home baked cookies for good neighborhood.

At this pre-Christmas event on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 19.00h in front of the dorm all residents and interested persons are invited. The aim of the evening with waffles, biscuits and mulled wine is to get to know better about our multicultural dorm neighborhood. In addition, the residents from 37 different countries of the world will offer an insight into the respective Christmas traditions of their homeland. The kitchens at the dormitory are already transformed into "Christmas Cookies Factories".

Creative students of the whole world
In the creative workshop the ESN Uni Liechtenstein and seven students of the University of Liechtenstein appeared with Jiri Herzan from the Czech Republic, Christoph Ammer and John Domeier from Germany, Rusudan Tkemaladze, Giorgi Vardanashvili and Ekatarine Tevdorashvili from Georgia, and Santiago Caridad from Mexico, led by Gabriela Cortés, head of the Dormitory and Accommodation department. The team designed a Christmas card, a poster and a cup for the mulled wine evening, which is planned as a gift for the guests.

Cultural diversity in the middle of Liechtenstein
The student dormitory of the University of Liechtenstein offers 72 accommodation possibilities for students all over the world. Currently, all places are filled with people from 37 different nations including Malaysia, Taiwan, Hungary, Belgium, Ecuador, Iran, Switzerland and Uzbekistan. Many exchange students come for one or two semesters from partner universities such as the University Lappeenrante, Finland, the Vietnam National University, Vietnam or the TU Munich to Liechtenstein. The meeting of the different cultures living in the dorm is multifaceted. An exchange with local students and the local population is ensured by regular, cross-cultural events.
