Date

Content

Every lawyer is obliged to provide legal aid to individuals who cannot afford to retain a lawyer themselves. The state finances the services of the lawyers. The bar association selects the lawyers, who have placed their services at disposal, and check their bills. The corresponding rules, however, deviate significantly from the general rules governing lawyers' fees. The speakers will present the principles behind these rules and case law on the matter.

Target Audience

Lawyers, trustees, employees of banks, insurance companies and financial service providers, as well as any people interested in specifically gaining an understanding of diverse legal issues.
