o asking for someone's name and origin
o greeting and farewell
o numbers from 0 to 100
o naming nationalities
o describing someone's appearance and character
o informing about age
o talking about oneself, family and friends
o presenting oneself and others
o expressing like, dislike and preferences
o shopping
o ordering in a restaurant
o speaking about quantities
B. Comprehension

o understanding words and simple sentences, provided that the speaker speaks slowly and clearly
C. Reading
(referring to the topics in A.)
o reading and understanding simple texts
o understanding and answering questions about the texts
D. Writing
o completing forms with name, address, nationality etc.

E. Grammar
o the conjugation of the regular verbs in -ar, -er, -ir and reflexive verbs, e.g. llamarse - tense: present
o the conjugation of irregular verbs, e.g. ser, estar, tener, ir, hacer, preferir (verbs with vowel change) - tense: present
o the verb gustar - tense: present
o the definite/indefinite article, the singular and the plural
