This course covers:
- Data retrieval from different sources important for Finance (ThomsonReuters Eikon, finance.yahoo.com and others)
- The import of such data into excel (for possible data manipulation) and R (for further analysis)
Learning Outcomes
- Students understand ThomsonReuters Eikon and how they can find and download relevant data
- Students are able to import and manipulate such data sets with Excel and R
- Students gain knowledge on and the necessary instruments to analyse these datasets
- Students know how to visualize and present such results with tables and graphics
