Based on empirical findings, certified business economist Stefan Wilhelm, academic researcher and doctoral student at the University of Liechtenstein’s Chair in International Management, will speak on the identification of strategic customers at the conference extension in Linz, a one-day workshop that will be held before the main conference. This paper examines entrepreneurial companies on the basis of five international case studies and seeks to illustrate the development of operative customer-knowledge management.

Preselection for the SMS Best Conference PhD Paper Prize
The paper by certified psychologist Ingo Bildstein, who is also an academic researcher and doctoral student at the Chair in International Management, has been selected to be presented at the main conference in Prague. It addresses the topic of how organizations and their abilities can be prevented from becoming too rigid. For this purpose, an innovative cognitive-collectivist approach from a psychological perspective was applied to the important strategic-management structure, and specific organizational recommendations for strategic management were derived.
The paper by Ingo Bildstein has been nominated for preselection for the 2012 SMS Best Conference PhD Paper Prize of the internationally renowned management conference. From nearly 1,200 submissions, the paper made it to the penultimate round, which included the 80 best junior scientists.

The two doctoral students at the Chair in International Management Ingo Bildstein und Stefan Wilhelm will be presenting two papers at the world’s leading conference on strategic management.

Both publications were produced with the assistance of Professor Stefan Güldenberg, who holds the Chair and supervised the two doctoral theses at the University of Liechtenstein.
