As the former director and head of research in politics at the Liechtenstein Institute, Christian Frommelt is a proven expert on Liechtenstein and its educational landscape. He sees a central goal of his work in strengthening the anchoring of the University in Liechtenstein and the region. "The University of Liechtenstein has great charisma and even greater potential. It is an honour for me to be able to help shape the development of the University in a leading role," Frommelt said in his welcome address.
After the many discussions about the organisational structures of the University, the main thing now is to put the focus back on the concrete achievements of the University of Liechtenstein, specifies Frommelt. With research, education and training, as well as knowledge and technology transfer, the University has a broad range of services and makes an important contribution to the sustainable development of Liechtenstein and to its competitiveness in general. In order to further develop the University's strengths, he would like to improve the dialogue between science, politics, business and society through active communication, in addition to international networking.
