The Institute of Information Systems is an active member of several international networks, among others, the Association for Information Systems (AIS), the German Academic Association for Business Research (VHB), and the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS):

 

AIS_Logo.jpgThe Association for Information Systems (AIS)is the premier professional association for the practice and study of information systems worldwide. As part of our AIS membership, we have established the Liechtenstein Chapter of the Association of Information Systems (LCAIS)in 2008. Members of the institute regularly attend the AIS conferences, in particular, the International and European Conferences on Information Systems.

VHB_Logo.pngThe institute's faculty are members of the VHB – the German Academic Association for Business Research (“Verband der Hochschullehrer für Betriebswirtschaft e.V.”). The VHB is a registered association under German law with more than 2,000 members and pursues the development of business research as an academic discipline. This involves the promotion of teaching, research, and networking. Since 2015, Prof. Dr. Jan vom Brocke serves as vice president.

ERCIS_Logo.pngThe European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS)is an international network of researchers who study the design, implementation, and adoption of information technology. The ERCIS network links world-class Information Systems departments, not only from European but also from non-European universities, and promotes interdisciplinary research projects, exchange at the international level, and joint lectures and seminars.
