With its three Chairs in Finance and Taxation, the Institute for Finance makes its accumulated knowledge available in the fields of politics, administration, the economy and society, both within Liechtenstein and beyond the borders of the Principality. It is currently carrying on numerous single-discipline and interdisciplinary transfer projects having both national and international orientation, centring on private and public wealth management through:
- Development of a model for tactical portfolio allocation
- Automation of settlement processes
- Controlling, reporting and evaluation of venture capital companies
- Risk management for AIFMs
- Implementation of CRD IV / CRR in Liechtenstein financial market law
- Effects of BEPS and EU-CoC on Liechtenstein tax law
- Analysis and continuing development of Liechtenstein as a tax location
