What is the identity of an architect? How does it arise? What does it refer to?

Each personal cultural identity is complex and is defined by the accumulation of experiences and discoveries. It is characterized, for example, by the books we read, the places we love, the works that touch us, the objects and tools we use for our actions. And by the way in which each of us processes, interprets, and makes of them a part of our own being.

23 lecturers and researchers at the University of Liechtenstein have reflected on this and realized a self-portrait of themselves through selected and commented books, pictures, places and objects.

In the foyer of the University of Liechtenstein all these materials will be put together in such a way that the cultural identity of the Institute of Architecture and Planning will result as the sum of all respective identities.
