Summer Exhibition and Awards Ceremony at the Liechtenstein School of Architecture
LSA Dean Prof. Michael Wagner opened the Summer Exhibition of the Liechtenstein School of Architecture on 27 May 2026 as part of the University of Liechtenstein Summer Party. The opening event provided insights into the work produced during the 2026 summer semester and also served as the occasion for the presentation of several awards.
The Liechtenstein School of Architecture is presenting the design projects developed during the 2026 summer semester in this public exhibition. The exhibition features work from the first four semesters of the Bachelor's programme as well as from the advanced Bachelor and Master studios. The projects address current questions related to building and living together, including housing, urban design, adaptive reuse and transformation of existing buildings, sustainable mobility, and the impact of social and spatial transformation processes. The exhibited projects offer different responses to these challenges and demonstrate how architecture and spatial development can contribute to creating liveable and future oriented environments.
During the opening event, the Liechtenstein School of Architecture also presented its annual awards. The MSc Thesis Award was awarded to Lion Maul for his thesis «Architectural Food Layer. Urbanised Protein Production». The BSc Thesis Award went to Joseph Stenz for his thesis «InSight. A Sanctuary for Creation. Artist Residence & Performance Space». George Georguiev received the Student Engagement Award in recognition of his outstanding commitment to the LSA community. The Alumni Award was presented to graduates Michaela Türtscher and Claudio Schneider.
The public exhibition remains open to visitors at the University of Liechtenstein Atelier until 22 June 2026.
