On 16 September 2026, renowned Swiss structural engineer Jürg Conzett gave a public lecture at the Liechtenstein School of Architecture. He is particularly known for his bridge designs, including the Traversiner Stege in the Viamala Gorge. He was invited by Prof. Dietrich Schwarz, Head of the Sustainable Design Unit at the Liechtenstein School of Architecture.

Conzett offered insights into his long-standing engagement with construction, structural design and architecture, drawing on historical examples along the way.

Conzett previously visited the University of Liechtenstein together with Peter Zumthor in 2021. He will return to the LSA several times this semester, both as an expert for the Bachelor’s theses and as a guest in Prof. Dietrich Schwarz’s studio.
