Banking supervision law and civil law: an analysis of the unauthorised banking activity
Project Description
The conduct of banking business is subject to obtaining a licence from the competent supervisory authority. Different legal systems attach different administrative, criminal, and private-law consequences to the conduct of banking business without the requisite licence. The aim of this thesis is to examine the private-law consequences of unlicensed banking activities, particularly in the context of European law.
