Project Description
  • Analysis of real entrepreneurial challenges in the context of business succession, in-novation, and strategic renewal.
  • Development of an acquisition plan with a strategic focus.
  • The plan includes, in particular:
o Systematic market and competitive analysis.
o Evaluation of the existing business model and development of improvement approaches.
o Identification of innovation potential (e.g., product or business model innovati-on) and synergies.
o Company valuation and determination of the purchase price.
o Development of a financing strategy (e.g., bank loan, equity investment, earn-out).
o Collaboration with existing companies is encouraged but not mandatory.
  • In-depth exploration of the following topics:
o Strategic entrepreneurship through acquisition.
o Business succession processes as an entrepreneurial design and transformati-on challenge.
o Sustainable growth strategies after acquisition.
Teaching Method
  • Project work on real-world business succession cases (using matching platforms or individually selected companies).
  • Application of strategic analysis and evaluation methods within the framework of an independent acquisition plan.
  • Discussion of entrepreneurial challenges in plenary sessions.
  • Group presentations with peer feedback and structured reflection.
