The Chairs of Finance, Law and Taxation are concerned, on both a single-discipline and an interdisciplinary basis, with important questions and problems in the field of private and public wealth management. Central to their activities are international and global aspects and challenges, their effects on Liechtenstein as a centre of business and finance and the contribution of Liechtenstein as a global player in the field of strategic wealth structuring.

Erasmus+ project on Impact Investing launched
The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project "From ESG Integration to Impact Investing" took place on 24 September in Rome. The University of Liechtenstein as organizer brings together three outstanding European universities: UNED from Madrid, Sapienza University and Unitelma Sapienza from Rome. The aim of the collaboration is to develop three open online courses for different target groups within three years.

The goal of the Anti-BEPS initiatives (BEPS = Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) is to prevent this in future. To this end, currently legal tax loopholes are identified and closed.

The graduation ceremony of the University of Liechtenstein took place on Friday, 22 April 2016. 88 graduates of the university received their Bachelor’s and Master’s degree diplomas. In addition, prizes were awarded to six graduates for exceptional performance.
