Professor Peter Droege has been elected Chair of the new Scientific Advisory Council, European Academy (EURAC) Institute of Renewable Energy, in in Bolzano.
Created in 1992 as an independent research center, EURAC is home to researchers from all over Europe who work together on a wide range of interdisciplinary projects. Experts in law and natural sciences, linguists and geneticists collaborate with public and private agencies towards the resolution of central issues of today. EURAC’s Institute for Renewable Energy, for example, focuses on Energy Strategy, Energy in Buildings, Photovoltaic Systems and Solar Thermal Energy Systems. www.eurac.edu.
