- Dr. Eelco Fiole is co-founder and the managing partner of Alpha Governance Partners (2015-). With presence in a.o. Copenhagen, Geneva, London, Singapore and Zurich, and Assets under Governance of USD 12 bn in 12 jurisdictions globally, it is the only jurisdiction-agnostic, conflict-free, fiduciary partnership providing risk-focused professional directors to any vehicle investing in, allocating to or overlooking complex investments. Previously, Eelco gained eight years of COO- and CFO-experience in alternative investments, emerging markets and wealth management, incl. at Credit Suisse Asset Management and Centrum Bank. He was a consultant for five years, a.o. with PwC, and started his career in finance as an institutional banker with ABN AMRO. A volunteer with a.o. the CFA Institute, Eelco has academic engagements in Alternative Investments, Risk Management, Finance Ethics and Investment Governance. He is editor of the book "Governing Complex Investments" (Wiley, 2018). He completed degrees in Economics (PhD, Basel), Laws (London), Business and Engineering (both Rotterdam) and holds a.o. the CFA-, CDir-, CAIA-, FRM-, CIFD-, and CMA-designations and participated in executive education at a.o. Chicago Booth, Harvard, INSEAD, Stanford and Wharton. Based in Zurich and Singapore, Eelco is fluent in English, German and Dutch and has a base in Mandarin, enjoying private exposure to China.
