Ivo Knoepfel Founder and Managing Partner OnValues

Ivo Knoepfel is managing partner of the consultancy onValues (www.onValues.ch), advising institutional investors on investing that is based on environmentally friendly and sustainable criteria. Knoepfel’s qualifications include a Swiss-certified asset management degree, an International Investment Analyst certification and engineering-doctorate (ETH). In his 16 years of work experience in the area of sustainable investing he held a position at Swiss Re, where he coordinated and implemented the sustainability strategy for investing and insuring. Furthermore, Knoepfel worked as head of rating and index research at SAM Sustainable Asset Management and was a member of management of the microfinance-centered asset management firm responsAbilityAG. Work in the context of international bodies has included steering committee memberships for the Principles for Investment in Inclusive Finance, the Principles for Investment in Inclusive Finance, the UNEP Financial Services Initiatives, the Swiss consultative body for climate protection and the  Measurement Working Group of the Global Reportng Initiative.
