The module follows an information resource guideline (see contents of the lecture). The lecture is accompanied by supplementary case studies from industry and data privacy (privacy enhancing technologies - PET).

Ziele

Graduates of Business Process Management must have knowlegde and problem conscience about the numerous risks, threatening especially IT supported processes. They also should be able to decide upon acitvities improving the safety of relevant information assets of an enterprise.

Lernergebnisse

Goals of this module are that students

• gain a relevant overview about information risks in enterprises in all resource areas (organization, data and informations technique {hardware, software, networks})
• become able to decide and judge about controls of information risk-observing strategies
• become able to demonstrate threats in multi-user computer systems.
